Sharon Thompson-Schill

Dr. Thompson-SchillĀ  is interested in the neural bases of memory and language in humans. Research in her lab mainly focuses on the investigation of semantic memory, the memory for knowledge about objects, facts, concepts, and words and their meanings. Her work employs cutting edge behaviroal and fMRI techniques to study the role of the frontal lobes in the semantic retrieval of information. She is a faculty member in the Department of Psychology and teaches BBB249 (Cognitive Neuroscience).
